
Rell Battle
Rell Battle is a multi-talented actor/comic/writer This Washington
D.C. native started his career studying in the University of Maryland
and Howard University theater programs, appearing in M. Butterfly and
James Baldwin's "The Amen Corner." During his college tenure he worked
for local radio stations interning, until he was picked up as an MTV
news radio writer in his junior year of college. He later went on to
host his own college radio station at the University of Maryland and
the grave yard shift at Virginia’s WJFK 106.7. Also a comic by trade,
Rell left D.C. in 2005 to pursue his comedic and acting career. Within
his first year of stand-up comedy he was invited to perform in the
Jamie Foxx Laffapalooza comedy festival in Atlanta as one of the "New
Faces," as well as other festivals from Las Vegas to the Bay Area. You
can catch Rell performing at all the major comedy clubs in Los Angeles
and touring throughout the country. Check for him as the host of
hip-hop official on the Go-tv network and in the new Snoop Dogg video
featuring Kid Cudi "That Tree."
